Dr. Chernyak is a licensed clinical health psychologist who specializes in the treatment of sleep disorders and other health conditions linked to disturbed sleep. She serves as the Director of the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program and Training Clinic and as an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at the Indiana University School of Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Chernyak completed a fellowship specializing in behavioral sleep medicine with the Cleveland Clinic. She is a fellow of Behavioral Sleep Medicine and was awarded the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Mid-Career Advocate award in 2024.
